For the Young & the Young at Heart
Bring the kids to Morro Bay and enjoy a trip of fun, learning, and exploration. No doubt you'll be heading to the beach after fueling up with a hearty breakfast. Don't forget your kite -- you can get one here. Head to the landmark Rock and spend the morning at the beach. Build sandcastles, fly a kite, climb the dunes and slide back down.
By lunchtime you'll be ready to head back to town for a quick sandwich. Then it's off to the Natural History Museum for some interactive fun and learning. The kids will love learning about the local habitat.
What's next? Head to the Embarcadero for a surrey ride, a game of chess at the Giant Chess Board, a trip to the Morro Bay Aquarium, and a few stops at the local shops for memorabilia.
The kids will be ready for dinner and bedtime after this adventure. And you'll be ready to relax in your room with a nice bottle of local wine.
