Not the type to sit around? Welcome to Morro Bay. This itinerary will have you on the go -- from dusk 'til dawn. Start your day with the rising of the sun. Grab a cup of coffee and pastry at one of our local shops.
Then head to the local bike shop where you'll rent a couple of mountain bikes and drive to Montana de Oro where miles and miles of trails await you. Bike a little. Hike a little. There are enough trails in this park to keep you busy for many hours. But you've got other things to do so just plan on a couple hours in the park.
After your mountain bike adventure, fuel up with lunch from one of our local restaurants. Then it's time for a trip to the beach. Rent a surfboard or kite and have some fun in the sand and sea.
Return in time for a relaxing sunset paddle, hosted by local tour company Central Coast Outdoors. Call ahead for your reservation.
Finally, you're ready for dinner at one of our fine local restaurants. Choose a quiet place overlooking the water or find a local brewery or pub with live music and plenty of socializing.
