What's in it for you?
Business Directory: The Chamber annually publishes a Business Referral Directory listing the names, addresses, telephone numbers and categories of of member businesses. The directory is distributed to all Chamber members, new area businesses, residents and visitors upon request.
Website: Log onto www.morrobay.org and find a listing of all Chamber members in the member directory, as well as links to the Morro Bay business community. The website is updated regularly. Find Chamber and community Calendar of Events and links to give the most up to minute information about Morro Bay.
Business Referral System: Chamber staff continuously refers Chamber businesses in response to telephone, personal, written and email inquiries everyday.
Community Involvement: Active members form new business alliances and become familiar with local issues by getting involved with the Chamber committees and community events.
Programs & Events: Through monthly mixers and the Chamber's annual events, members can keep up with new information all the time. (Joining one of our committees keeps you both up to date and involved in the community.)
Morro Bay Visitor Center : As a member of the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce, you also receive the benefits of displaying your business cards and brochures at the Visitor center located at 845 Embarcadero Suite D.
Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings: New and existing businesses receive ribbon cutting photo opportunities and community wide exposure for grand openings, groundbreaking ceremonies or special anniversaries.
Monthly Publications: Our monthly publication, The Soundings, showcases Chamber activities, member features, business articles, program updates, promotions and local issues. The Chamber also provides promotional flyers from Chamber members.
Promote Your Business: Members promote their businesses by displaying their brochures, flyers, business card ads and promotional material in our Business & Visitors Center.
Legislative Advocacy: The Chamber studies city, county, state and federal issues that may impact members' businesses. The programs involve guest speakers and sponsors in public forums to educate the community, introduce candidates for public office or debate community issues. |
