July 17: Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run. 2010 marks the 41st running of the Rock to Pier Fun Run. The run/walk is approx. 6 miles in length and takes place on the hard packed sand from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. We welcome people of all ages and fitness levels to participate. July 25 - Aug. 20: Brushstrokes 2010. An annual juried showcase featuring 48 selected entries by local artists. Embark on a sail and feel the wind in your face on an 18th Century Merchant Sloop. The Lady Washington has appeared as the HMS Interceptor in the film Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl, and the Brig Enterprise in Star Trek Generations.
